When I worked at the Museum of Fine Art in Boston there was a Charles Sheeler painting that I wanted to touch so badly. I would stand at a distance and just stare at it.

3rdofmay:

The art: Charles Sheeler, Aerial Gyrations, 1953.

The news: “Is Manufacturing Really Back?” by Rana Foroohar for Time.com.

The source: Collection of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
